LCBI has a proud choral music tradition. As other schools cut back on their Fine Arts programs, LCBI has expanded and enhanced this important area. LCBI’s Concert Choir is at the centre of our Fine Arts program. Our award-winning Concert Choir is an auditioned choir. Students wait with anticipation each year to see if they have been selected to be part of this well-known and respected group.
The Concert Choir rehearses every day — a rarity among schools that have a choir. The daily rehearsals result in remarkable growth and development in the choir. The choir directors have taken the choir in new and exciting directions over the years, ensuring that his students study a range of repertoire, from Renaissance music to spirituals.
The Concert Choir tours Saskatchewan each spring, and performs concerts throughout the year in and around Outlook.
