Brian (Alumni 1974) was commissioned as a missionary of the ELCIC on October 9, 1988, to serve the Fe y Esperanza orphanage of the Lutheran Church in El Salvador and as a liaison between Canadians and Salvadorans.
Nashville based songwriter Ryan Sorestad (Alumni 1997) has seen his music take him from Saskatchewan all the way to Music City – Nashville, TN. Recently he was named to the “Ones to Watch” list at Nashville Songwriters Association International that recognizes new hit country songwriters.
Calgarian Jason Hastie (Alumni 1992) might arguably be one of the brightest country music stars on the Canadian music scene. Not only does Hastie have a history with country music that dates back more than a decade, he is also an entrepreneur, an author, and a certified accounting professional.
Matt Brotzel (Alumni 2004), better known as RationaL, is an award-winning Saskatoon-based hip-hop artist. With sales of over 3,000 copies of his debut solo album The BirthWrite LP, RationaL’s music has received airplay on national television (Sportsnet, MLB) and commercial and college radio across the country.
