Leah Rusk (Adelman) Athletic Director
The Lady Bisons were coached by staff members Bryan Balaton and Kristie Sincennes, with help from alumni Azelyn Beckett, Kira Berggren and Abby Radics. The girls spent time on the road for tournaments across the Province but the highlights of their season was in their very own gym whenever they got to play in front of their family and friends. The Lady Bisons lost out at Conference Playoffs but grew immensely throughout the season.

The LCBI Basketball teams had a busy couple of months on the court. After taking a season off, the rest was apparent but so was the commitment and hard work from the athletes!

Rick Johnson Classic
LCBI Bisons Basketball hosted the 44th Annual Tournament “The Rick Johnson Classic”. The tournament begins with a ceremonial jump ball tossed by Rick Johnson but this year, it was his granddaughter, Victoria Skelton’s duty to continue on the tradition.
After the jump ball, the Bisons took on Herbert and had a hard battle before dropping the game. This took the Bisons to the B side of the tournament where they won 2 nail biters against Waldheim and Briercrest. Many valuable lessons were learned and huge steps forward were taken as the boys were crowned consolation side champs.
VICTORIA SKELTON – 2015 Graduate

The Bisons were a young and incredibly eager group of boys. Most weekends were spent on the road with a tournament almost every weekend from December until March.
