LCBI 2022 Graduation
LCBI High School 2022 Graduation
Congratulations to the Graduating Class of 2022!
We were blessed once again to experience the long-standing tradition of a four day graduation. This past weekend we celebrated our eighteen graduates of which sixteen are from Saskatchewan, one from Alberta, and one from Hong Kong. Seven are from the local area.
Back Row (left to right): Danielle Reimer, Laura Petersen, Sargent McGowan, Caiden Holmlund-McLeod, Anton Woudwijk, Liam Jones, Braden Anderson, Leon Fung, Lawrenne Meagher. Front Row (left to right): Kenya Reddekopp, Rebecca Tamlin, Olivia Jacobson, Leah Haugen, Jenna Fleck, Asta Hovdestad, Lily Rohrke, Katelyn Barnett, Ella Hopkins.
The stage is set! On Saturday evening in front of a packed gymnasium, the graduating class set off across the stage showing off their fancy dresses and suits! Their futures were announced as the crowd learned of all the different adventures the class was about to embark on. Some will be attending Universities all across Canada in the fall, others entering straight into the workforce, while some are taking the time to travel the world.
On Friday evening the graduating class ventured out to the Jones’ family farm where they shared lots of laughs and memories, played games, and the boys even smoked a brisket for supper!
One of the fondest memories of the LCBI Graduation for everyone is the Grand March. LCBI’s Grand March isn’t like any other typical Grand March. Click below slider to view a few clips of LCBI’s Grand March.

Grad 2022 Talent Show
For weeks leading up to their big day, the class comes together to choreograph a performance. This year displayed a wide variety of music and dancing including line dancing to Cadillac Ranch and doing the actions to their favourite worship music over their time at LCBI. It is truly a way to see all of the different personalities in the graduation class and enjoy watching them smiling and laughing as they perform for the crowd. You can tell they are making life long memories!
Grad 2022 Worship Service and Commencement Ceremony
Grad 2022 Baccalaureate service
Sunday morning saw the gym full once again for Worship Service. Back on stage in their dresses and suits, the graduating class listened to the message from guest Pastor George Hind. He gave lots of advice about what life after High School may look like for the graduates and spoke wonderfully about their class verse:
“When you pass through the Waters. I will be with you;” Isaiah 43:2
It was then time for a wardrobe change as the graduates put on their caps and gowns to walk across the stage and receive their diplomas during the baccalaureate service. The Valedictorian for the Class of 2022 is Rebecca Tamlin from Strasbourg, Saskatchewan. The Class Presidents are Leah Haugen, Ella Hopkins, and Liam Jones. They will continue to work closely with LCBI to keep their class engaged and coming back for Homecoming and the Spring Gala.
The weekend finished off Monday morning with the graduates traveling to The Berry Barn for their traditional Grad Breakfast.
