Capital Campaign: Building a Better Future at LCBI
We are excited to announce the launch of our Enriching the Journey capital campaign to build a new LCBI High School Food Services Building — an essential space at the heart of student life.
For generations, LCBI has been a place where students grow academically, socially,
and spiritually. The current food services building has long served as more than just a place to eat — it is where friendships are formed, ideas are shared, and community is built.
Our $5.0 million campaign will support the health of our students and enhance the quality of their campus experience. With your generous support, together we aim to create a campus that our students need and deserve
Our Vision
This campaign aims to create a modern, welcoming, and functional food services building that reflects the values of LCBI.
Planned improvements include:
- Expanded seating to accommodate our student body comfortably
- Updated kitchen facilities to support nutritious and efficient meal preparation
- Bright, inviting design that fosters connection and community
- Flexible spaces for gatherings, events, and student collaboration
We are focused on a food services building as it fits into our Master Plan. As most of us are aware the current food services building is now 80 years old. Our stewardship is without question and sooner or later inspections will be more difficult to acquire. A renewed food services building will enhance the daily experience of every student. It will provide a space where students can recharge and connect — supporting both their well-being and learning.
How You Can Help
We invite alumni, families, and community partners to join us in making this vision a reality. Your support—through prayer, advocacy, and financial contributions—will help
shape a space that serves current students and generations to come.
Together, we can build more than a cafeteria. We can strengthen the heart of LCBI!
